Robin red anybody?

Years ago, Robin Red from a certain supplier would stain everything almost a permanent red, but later Robin Red lacked this property. Now I've read various information regarding the presence (or not) of Carophyll Red in Robin Red and also opinions regarding the change of it's formulation. Doesn't seem to have altered it's effectiveness in baits though.
An alternative to Robin Red is Spanish Pepper RRR which is also supplied by Haith's.
