Re-read Rob Youngs article in CC6 again today on Hampshire Avon barbel. I have to say it's a brilliant piece and a must read for anybody targeting this type of river. Some great advice on tactics and pics of a 7lb chub, 2 x 13lb barbel, 3 x 15lb barbel, culminating in his 17-3 river record.
 
Sounds great what is CC6 ? when its at home ? please

Entire magazine is, again, a great read thanks to all contributors and the production team!
 
Received my copy today. Started absorbing it this evening. Brilliant mag, feels more grown up than the usual.
It turns out, I’ve met Rob “the sniper” Young more than once this season.
Definitely enjoyed the Perch gag, very topical to me at present having just taken up drop shorting for them.
 
I agree, very high quality, contributor, editorial and production values. The quality reminds me of the National Association of Specialist Anglers (NASA) "SPECIALIST ANGLER" magazines from the 1980's. keep up the good work.

Great feedback men and really appreciated and sorry have only just seen this.
We really are trying hard to produce something the serious angler will enjoy and ultimately it depends on quality material, no matter how it is dressed up. People have been so kind and generous in this respect and CC7 is looking good already!
