Just enquiring if anybody knows off any Chub/Barbel fishing in the Bradford area??
The wife is starting a Uni course there this week and i will be driving over 2/3 times a week and need some entertainment whilst waiting for her.
As usual i'm not after pegs just general info on available tickets etc, cheers.

The Swale can't be to far away can it? Or the ribble if you go the other way? Or possible the trent? Get yourself a Leeds book mate

Theres some quality chub fishing on the river aire between skipton and keighley plus lots of small barbel which have been stocked in the last few years.

John
there have been a few Barbel caught on the free stretches in and around Leeds on the Aire.
Try the Leeds AA forum but dont hold your breath real secret squirrel stuff.

Subject: Points North

Just a thought: might you chaps conduct this discussion in dialect? It would entertain this late-octogenarian enormously, as well keep my North of The Watford Problem team of monitorers, translators and interpreters busy for months...

It appears that I have no option left to me other than to send a team of anthropologists to make contact with, try to establish amicable relations with and then perhaps even live with this very odd tribe (though I fear the latter might prove to be impossible, the linguistic and cultural gulf simply being too great...).
