River trent

Good evening all ,

I'm interested in booking somewhere to stay for like 3-5 nights so me and a pal can fish the trent at collingham . I'll be 50 this year so want something half decent .
Do you have any recommendations for where you have stayed please ?
Money not an issue , just somewhere comfortable , could be air b n b , or a pub with rooms would be perfect so we could have beer and a steak each night !
Please bear in mind I'd have to then come back and arrange something somewhere with the Mrs somewhere else once we got back from fishing lol

Absolutely brilliant and only 5 mins from the river and a 5 minutes walk from the pubs.

Accomodation is first class as is the breakfast.

The rooms in the main farmhouse are great and if you're lucky the cottage may be free which sleeps 4 and has a nice kitchen.

If I remember right it was about £40 a night B&B. Local pubs do some great pizza nights and one of them has a Chinese restaurant. The chippy is pretty decent aswell.
