River Otter

Does have a sort of deja vu feeling about it, doesn't it Dave? Not that any otters really were illegally released, goodness me no. And none have been released for many years...perish the thought. As usual with all statistics, the official figures for numbers released, and where and when...are absolutely true. Absolutely.

Cheers, Dave.

they should set up a special unit to monitor them. I dunno, they could call it the beaver patrol.

Perhaps they are hoping to claim that these mysterious, illegally introduced beaver have been there for some time....and that in fact are the cause of all the recent flooding :D

Cheers, Dave.

They are the offspring of successful reintroductions into Scotland spreading their wings into new territories. Poor little things had to go all the way to Devon before they found another clean river to set up home in.

Ha ha ... Perhaps we could unlawfully release a dozen or so Lynx into the wild ! keep the otter numbers down ? :D
