River Frays Barbel?

Did anyone notice in the press last week a 12Ib 6oz Barbel caught from the Frays in Uxbridge? Used to fish there years ago but never heard of any Barbel there....until now!

yep, they are there, in small numbers, much harder the the colne, I've caught barbel from the frays around uxbridge but not that size, very good fish.
i used to fish the mill road bit in cowley.

I used to float fish in Fassnidge Park Uxbridge ,plenty of small stuff but
never saw any Barbel ( but that was 30 years ago)

Thanks Dave, have not fished there in many moons but yes a very good fish for the stretch.
