Ribble Licensing

Hi All,

Years ago I fished the Ribble around Elston lane on the section covered under the St.Helens and Wigan AA permits. I'm looking to fish upstream from there now and was wondering if anyone knew who owns the fishing rights to any of the stretches around there.

I've looked in the fisheries guide but can't seem to find any decent information on the clubs that run the stretches.

Any information is appreciated

Cheers

Mark

You lot are one crazy bunch :D:p:D Years ago I new when one of my mates was in the area, 'cos I could smell the boilie flavour/attractor he was using. With you lot you can probably identify each other by the lovely odour of the brand/type of pie he eats :D:p:D

Cheers, Dave.

stretches

above elston mark you would need a radac or paas ticket both have 3-4 year waiting lists!
your nearest available water is the day ticket in ribchester village available from the spar shop in the village. this is around 5 mile upstream of higher elston.

Cheers for that John, I've seen the radac stretch and really don't fancy the wait or the cost just for a ribble stretch. I'll check out the Ribchester stretch, any idea how much a day ticket is?
