reflections on past year

Best thing of 2011 was 23 rd July when we had the BFW fish inn at Hampton Loade months of hard work with help of Stevo and Marie made it a great day with every one coming home with some thing and best of all made £1000 for breast cancer .

Meeting lots of new friends on my Wye summer and fishing with many of them on different rivers.

Targets for next season beating the 7lb 7oz chub and improving on the 15.4 Kennet barbel.

Retirement from Guiding is great. Going to find time to fish with Pals from years past.

Graham

Fishing with new friends on new wild waters in the most stunning scenary. I have missed my old muckers though back in the UK.

Graham, sorry we never got to fish as much as I would have liked. If you ever get to this side of the pond :).

Regards
Paul

Still get my Free flight tickets Paul so you might well get a surprise this coming year!

Great to hear from you.

The back end of the season I did quite well on the Royalty with Barbel to 13:05 on rolling meat. The closed season I did a PB Tench 8:02 from the pits at Chichester. I wasted most of the Summer traveling to venues that have a reputation, and should have stayed local. I got beaten up by two really good fish on my local Rother, one snaged me and the hook link just parted on the other.
