Reel size ?

Hi fella's,

Just ordered myself an 11ft Torrix.

For those of you that prefer this length of rod, what reel do you match it up with.

Are shim 5000s a bit too heavy for them or okay. What do you use ? :)

shimano 4000 dl fa nice and compact and a silky smooth front drag
 
I use a Shimano Baitrunner ST 4000 FA with my 11ft Torrix.

It's a lightweight (but well constructed) small baitrunner, and for me matches the lightness of the Torrix blank, and can be held for long periods if required. Clutch is very good.
 
If you can live without the baitrunner facility I used a Daiwa exceler x 4000 on mine was lovely and balanced perfectly the reel was about 380 grams wouldn't of wanted anything much heavier.
