Reel Size for 2 3/4lb TC Basia

I'm wondering what reel size people typically use on the 2 3/4 Basia?
I currently have Okuma INC-6000 on them, but having used the 4000 Thunnus on my lighter rods, I'm thinking that I might go for a baitrunner instead.
I think that the 4000 would probably be fine on them, but the thought of the 6000 Thunnus has now entered my head!

They will be mainly used on the middle and tidal Trent.

As the rods are sitting in rests for most of the time, balancing up the ideal sized reel is really not too important. However as you are going to be lobbing out larger leads and feeders particularly on the tidal sections then I would suggest a larger reel with quite a low gear ratio just to offer you some cranking power when bringing your payload back in the heavy flows.
If money is no object then the thunnus 6000 would be a great choice. But so would the D or OC be equally as good

I use 6000 X Areo's on mine.

You might want to consider the 8000 if you're casting long distances over the tidal, only slightly heavy and no noticable size difference, apart from the spool width, which is larger, taking more line...
