And isn’t it marvellous that we still have some genuine mystery present in UK angling. Personally I don’t have the mental fortitude or undergarments to launch any kind of campaign in search of a Thames monster. Absolute admiration for those that do and when an extraordinarily special fish as this one is, arrives, it’s justly deserved. Agree with Richard about the circus scenario. Also love the fact that I haven’t seen any disputes about the weight based on the photo. It looks enormous unless the capture is one of the Borrowers.
