Recommendations for a landing net handle

My old drennan landing net handle has finally given up after much fettling with it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a handle that will extend to three metres and handle decent sized fish??

I’d replace like for like. My Drennan twist lock 3 ME handle is now 15+ years old and still going strong. The one time it did develop the known issue and that was 10 years in, Drennan sent me a replacement locking mechanism FOC.

I recently bought the 3.5 ME version too, as the extra length comes in handy, when I’m targeting Chub and Perch in some swims I fish on the Severn.

Drennan Twistlock.
The only time I have known the dongle break, was when I passed it someone to set up... he'd over tightened it. I think I greased my 2 about 12 years ago and havent bothered since. If it doesn't want to tighten, put a slight bend in it and it will. I can only think about replacing it, is maybe when the thread where's out.

I used to whole heartedly recommend the Gardner specialist handle, but they have changed it from the original and both newer ones that I have bought the glue has gone on the connector bit.

So now I would definitely NOT recommend the Gardner.

It used to be straight up between the gardner and the drennan but the drennan has stood the test of time by the sound of things.

I've got a Drennan 3m twistlock which I have generally used but also I saw and bought a Korum Allrounder Multi Handle 3m recently. It's a nice thing and seems well made so it's a two piece jobby rather than extending. I like it as can be 1.8, 1.3, or 3m versions.
