Really disappointing luggage.

Regarding luggage, I prefer to keep my rods in plastic tubes in an old school holdall. The holdalls are usually much cheaper and less bulky than those massive made up rod holdalls. They also have compartments for umberellas, banksticks, landing net staff and a fold up net head.
The reels go in the rucksack in padded cases, all safe from damage. I'd prefer knowing my tackle is safe over the time it takes to make a rod or two up.
Exactly what i do if just float fishing for the day,keeping expensive delicate float rods safe.Was actually thinking about converting one of my 2 rod ridged full protection holdalls to accommodate them made up using strips of velcro to keep sections apart to avoid clattering about.
