Rare Normark specialist rod 11ft

Very rare Normark specimen rod 11ft in absolutely as new condition not a single mark on the rod the test curve is around 1.25lb tc complete with original rod bag. don’t know too much about these ones as I’ve never seen another one of them. £100 collected from Epping

Wowsers, I had a pair of these before I moved onto all the Hardy range in 2006,
If I remember correctly they were a very through action , a proper players rod, and they caught me plenty of chub and barbel on the Derbyshire Derwent..
They were purchased from tansley car boot sale for 30 quid , they served me well for a good 5 seasons.....

Yes Rob they were very good and a real players rod with a good progressive action.
I then bought a pair of Hardy Marksman 11 ft 6 Avon's , and they were okay when the bottom 3rd of the rod started to work.
But the top 2/3rds were way to soft...
If you find another I'd be very interested, as I'm thinking about a pair of Harrison SU Avon's for close quarter battle work, and I think the normaks were slightly underated as an avon...
