Ian, what do you want to know ? it's the Severn the middle Severn, not much doing there as far as feature,s no weirs, not much flow and deep, ideal for your Bream I would say.

I've a mate who fishes it. It's the same as anywhere else on the Middle, it's hard going. My mate had one small barbel and a few chub there on Tuesday evening. It's a nice stretch, lots of variety there. Short steep hill on way back.

'Cardiac Hill' as it was known back in the day....

Cardiac Hill was the Knowle Sands one I always thought. Both hills are pretty unpleasant though, especially after blanking!

If you just take a run at either hill then I'm told they're a lot easier

Definitely Knowle Sands cardiac hill, it was a bugger when I was in my 20s, never mind now.
