picture problems

hi guys
can anyone help me i am trying to add a picture to the gallery
and i keep browsing my pc for the picture sellecting it so the info is in the box.
then after a minute or so of submiting it the screen pops up saying i did not select an image

Might be because it's too large in size. Try resizing.

the picture i am trying to upload is for the gallery not a post. would istill need to do this?

Yes I believe so, as you're still adding it as an attachment. How big is it?

If you use windows XP, it is even easier to re-size by downloading the windows powertoy imageresizer.exe from the right hand column:

One installed you simply right click on a picture and select resize from the pull down menu, simples!!
