The hooks where masked with weed
Today in no particular order over my baits I’ve had boats paddle boards kayaks and swimmers and bright sun

River Thurne at Coldharbour yesterday. Lovely surroundings and beautiful weather. Good job a fish didn't come along to spoil the tranquility!

Walked the banks of the River Bohme, near Fallingbostel , Lower Saxony yesterday, only a small river but has some mouth watering swims. Only saw small silvers but there must be some worthwhile Chub there .

A couple of the D.Stour looking up and downstream at sunrise from my gaff taken a couple of days ago.
I had to reduce the resolution from 45 mp to 3mp to get each one accepted on here which is a shame but I understand why file size has to be shrunk. River is waking up now,.. I’m expecting to hear the chatter of Reed Warblers any day soon as they return to their breeding grounds.
PS,.. spot the kingfisher flying into the mist in the second pic,… complete fluke.

Finally got around to printing a few Stour pics ,.. liked this one so put it above the fireplace ,.. she who must be obeyed even liked it which saved some strife.
