Wont be walking miles in it , nor will I be sitting in the cold for long , only back for 6 weeks in the summer so seems like a good buy at &80.00.

Hi Richard,
I bought a similar product, Hi Gear 3 in 1.. Same price and spec, but was disappointed with it as it is not breathable. Even sitting in it traps condensation and eventually makes me cold. It does keep me warm initially but then after a while I get cold. My advice is to look for a breathable one.

This might be a better buy as it is breathable Craghoppers Men's Kiwi 3-in-1 Waterproof Jacket | GO Outdoors

My last Craghoppers jacket lasted for over 10yrs until it lost its waterproofing and it is still OK for dry days and a light shower. The outer material was fairly heavyweight though which is something you cannot judge when looking online.

they doe a jacketn bib n brace for £60.00. the snug warm suit i think.
its 100% waterproof,lightweightn breathable.
well worth a gander n the bibn n brace may come in handy or sell it on.

I tend to buy all my fishing gear second hand these days, there are plenty of people who buy top of the range walking kit, wear it a couple of times and then it hangs in the hall for a couple of years before finding it's way to the charity shop or on to ebay.
The same people take out a gym membership and only use it a couple of times and have £300 exercise bikes in their bedrooms which they hang their clothes up on at night.

Get your self on ebay, or an army surplus store. Some good items to be had at reasonable prices in this turbulent time

Ditto Patrick's comment, but don't buy second-hand Army Goretex as it is likely to have lost it's repellancy, which affects breathability. The brand new stuff is cheap and unless you're going to be fishing commercials and city parks, will blend in to the rural scenery (as designed to!).
