Pair of Shimano Triton 3000X Baitrunners

I have a pair of the original ( I think? ) baitrunners that I'm open to offers for.

The bail arms on both do not return to the original position once opened & the handle is wound but the baitrunner system does click back once the handle is turned.

The clutch works on the baitrunner & the reel when the baitrunner system is disengaged so in theory the reels could be used in their present state although it might be slightly frustrating?

I have a feeling that it may just be a case of replacing the springs but I'm no engineer & happily use a pair of 5010's for my barbel fishing so don't need to go to the expense of sending them to Felindre!

The reels have 1 spool each & I would say are in average condition cosmetically, they don't look like new but work well enough & I know some anglers swear by these reels.

Any interest or even advice on how to repair would be welcomed.

You could risk it and send to Felindre. I sent my old 3500 to them and they fixed it at a cost inc p.p of £27.00

If u ring them they might say they got no parts which they told me so I risked it and it paid off. tite lines Dan

I might have to go that route as there doesn't seem to be any interest - either that or ebay I guess.

I was keen to sell really as I have a pair of 5010 baitrunners that I use so these are spares.
