Between Sheffield and Barnsley S74Where are you fella
A pair of Basia 1.75s, I wish the Basias, had the weave the Peregrines have, just for aesthetics. What rods are you using now Jon?
Hi John, really glad to hear that you're health is a lot better than expected and that you're planning to get back onto the banks. I'll keep a look out for you and let you know if I hear of any relevant tackleThe 1.75s for close in? And do you use the basia 2.75s for bigger leads/ feeders on the tidal?
Sorry to be nosy but I’ve asked and valued your advice previously. I’m asking all these questions as I recently sold all my barbel gear ( everything top quality stuff- peregrines , infinity’s, torric) to George Gerring on this website. At the time I was undergoing tests and scans etc. and convinced myself of the worst outcome so lost the plot and sold everything. also top of the range match gear. 12k worth of tackle went for 6k! But it was a loss well worth it as eventually everything has turned out not as bad as I thought.
So anyway, at the point where I’m going to get set up again( although I probably won’t be accumulating as much gear as before.)
Maybe 2 rods for close in and 2 for bigger stuff. Would basias be top of your recommendations?
Also what reels do you match yours with? I was using shimano 4000’s and shimano xtra lc medium bait runners.
Thanks for any help
