Owner hooks getting scarce

Just a heads up chaps.
Went to my local tackle shop to get some Owner trebles, for Salmon shrimping. They didn't have any because the large tackle distributor has stopped handling Owner hooks. So, there could be a shortage in the near future.
I checked Ebay and there's plenty available for now so got 3 packs of my favourites.

This is the second time in the last 10 years that the distributor will have changed. We used to stock them but they switched distributor meaning I couldn't get them any more...Let's hope I can start getting them again...

There were quality control issues with the Owners on certain patterns about 6 years ago. I moved away from using them. They seemed to be extremely brittle at low termperatures. Shame as they were at one time a premium product.

Bought a few hundred C3 hooks at a bargain price when Harrison discontinued stocking them. Still got loads left as got supplies of the old Nash Fangs, which never let me down. Only negative was that the barbs were quite large compared with others.
Cheers
Bob
