Otter e-petition

It is badly written.

Maybe one of the more eloquent members of the angling world could start one that’s more sympathetically composed…
 
It's not the unauthorised release of otters that causes a problem. Natural England or whatever they call themselves this week organised a release of otters on a prime Nth Yorkshire trout stream. They claimed that the otters would only eat eels. Not only is that preposterous, but eels are an endangered species in their own right. Figure that out.

So now we know why the otter declined. Nothing to do with hunting, traffic, pesticide poisoning or whatever. They didn't realise that fish other than eels were edible! The new super otter has cannily identified other species as being edible.
Natural England indeed! If much was left up to that bunch of halfwits all wildlife would perish.
