Original Fox Rods, What was in the range?

Thanks for the input everyone.
I definitely want to try one of the original Avon/Quivers now if I can find one.
The Specialist I bought has Fuji rings & reel seat and high quality cork on the handle.
The only thing I dont like (apart from the folding hook keeper) is the beige duplon on the handle but I can live with that.
Cheers,
Rob

My rod was classed as 1lb tc, though I later saw that some rated it as 12oz. In fairness, I think 12oz may be nearer the mark. I bought it new for £58, which is amazing value. This was a discounted price. I recently saw the same rod go for £108 on the bay. So it has some big fans out there.
I have also had good chub and tench on the Avon section.
This rod will be with me for years to come, I see no need to look for an alternative. I'm no tart. ;)

Hi Chris, have you ever used your specialist for float fishing? Im just wondering if it would be suitable for the odd trotting session on my local small river.
Cheers

I have in storage the 12ft Specialist 1lb. t/c, also comes with the fox 2oz glass tip/top section RD3538 in the original green cloth bag. The Duo lite Avon 12ft (green cross weave) rod now looking for the bag for that!. And lastly in storage a fox Specialist float rod 3-5lb line rating + Brown cloth bag RD3388 13ft.
