If you are on Facebook this group would be a good place to sell them.

I've got one & I'm very fond of it. The catalogue description gives it as 1lb 2oz/ 1lb 4oz & Archie Braddock reckoned it was the best barbel rod he had ever handled! I think they'll get snapped up on the oldskool site, good luck with it.
I guess it's a world away from the 2.75lb carbon rods of today but each to his own.

I recall they were highly rated by lots of anglers. I know someone who used a pair for all his carp fishing until they were stolen from a garden shed. Having Terry Eustace's shop a short bike ride away meant I knew a lot of people with T24s, T31s and Big Tench Rods. Even had some of his rods myself including a special 3 piece chub/Avon and a trotting rod. Great rods and very reliable.

Thanks Steve. Could you pm me your number? I've had an expression of interest from a member on here but if that doesn't pan out it'd be good to put them on Faceache for our mutual friend as he's not on that platform either.

It will go on later tonight after I've fed my fat face 😜

Everyone's opinion on rods is different but I think they might be a bit harsh for light lining. I have some 0.75lb Rods I use for perch.
If you'd like a chat with the seller PM me your contact number and I'll ask him to give you a call.

Nic.

You"ll be casting out probably a weight of 3-4oz. ( probably a 3ssg chubber and bait) I use 1.25 on the Wye and other rivers as well as lakes.

You will also need a good firm contact on the strike to pull the hook home especially with it through the baits lip.

Just my opinion

Thanks Graham. Most of my perch fishing with live baits has been on small ponds with small baits rather than more demanding situations. And from your previous posts I can confidently say you've had more success with stripes than I have!
