New tackle

No doubt my obsession with buying 2 1/2 Sawn Drennan Crystal Loafers and 5AAA Crystal Avons will continute unabated !!!
Other than that I will probably get my trusty Shimano Sahara 3000M's serviced and buy a few rig bits..........
Nothing dramatic.............

I'm with you there Paul, there's something about floats that just makes you buy them. I think the mental image of them dipping under helps you splash out on them. I've yet to purchase some of Andrew fields exquisite floats, they're absolutely gorgeous but I'd be gutted if I lost one.

Jeff, that's why I buy the cheaper ones........... If I was to buy some 'Nice' ones, I would be scared to use them..............

I've got two Century Armalite mk3's in 2lb to try out, bought them last year when they went for cheap on fleabay.

Just looking to buy 2 reels to pair with them, shimano 8000D's are currently favorite.

A Shimano Aernos 2500 FA has just arrived from Malaysia to go with the Ultra-lite rod I bought at the end of the season. :) This was intended for jigging and drop-shotting but I can see it being used for some trotting as well. :)

Not sure i need anything this season Mark.

I changed my line about four seasons ago so that will be good for another couple of years. Hooks genrally get resharpened, i buy big hooks too start with, size 1/0's and after a few seasons sharpening they are down too a nice size 8.
Not being a big user of bait, i bought a kilo of boillies in 1998, still have half of them left.
I may well treat myself too a new pair of bite alarms tho, the Heron's have finally given up the ghost!
The seat box is still fairly comfortable so i won't be changing that this time round.
The umbrella has been re waterproofed and will go again, the "Hoffmiester, follow the bear" logo is a tad faded but that does not detract from the performance.

So, as you can see, i think all things are covered this season.

As I know you Tom, I know you are joking but I am wondering if this persona you describe might be based on a certain Head Bailiff?? :D

Iv got more terminal tackle than anything. 250 rigs ready tied 120 leads pretty sure il not have to tie any rigs up or order any leads for the upcoming season lol

PMs are full plus some need a reply :)
