Do Fox still do their barbel net?
I've had mine so long that I can't even remember the year I bought it.
Not a lot you can say about a net really, but it's the one I've had the longest that doesn't have any holes in it apart from those meant to be there. Snagged it, ripped it through brambles and hawthorns, dropped lit ciggies on it..the thing is indestructable. Must be kevlar mesh or something ;-)
I don't do pan nets at all, so this Fox folder has been absolutely perfect for me. Small enough to fit in a bankstick pocket, doesn't rot when packed away wet and not given a dry, and more importantly, survived everything I've thrown at it without a single rip or hole.
But, I don't know if they still make them and can't be bothered to look. If they do, well, I bought mine in the very early days of Fox branching out. These days, probably sweatshop labour and substandard quality.
