neoprene thigh waders

So my current waders have split and are leaking. I've ordered a repair kit but meantime I want to get another pair of neoprene waders which I used to have a few years back and having been through about 3 pairs of rubber ones since I much prefer the neoprene. So can anyone recommend a decent pair ? Im not worried about cost, just want some decent quality ones that will last a few seasons.

I realise your looking for neoprenes Cliff, but I'd suggest you take a look at the aigle parquares (spelled wrong) rubber thigh waders.
I'm on my second pair now which i've been using for about 7 or more years and they are still going strong after a lot of use!
Good hunting 😉👍.

thanks for the recommendation Ian, I'll take a look.

quick update.. looks like they don't make Procours anymore, its Truite now.

Obviously I can't give a review on them Truite model as i've never had them.
When my paraquares give up the ghost i'll be taking a pot shot at the truite model in the hope that they will be similar to the Paras.

Again, not neoprene, just lined rubber. However, the cloth facing of the lining is similar to that used on neoprene.

Safety waders might sound a bit weird, but it means that the sole is fairly rigid and supportive. I have the neoprene lined safety wellies from the same brand (same sole unit) and have used them yomping around the countryside when beating.

I've also found the safety toe cap helps reduce the numbness that I sometimes get after hours of standing in water. Saves a battered toe end when you clatter a bigger rock.

I have a pair of Daiwa neoprene thigh waders. Nice and comfy and have had them several years.
However, the last few times I have worn them (in warm weather) with a bit of a walk to the river and moving between swims, I have ended up with my feet and legs really damp from condensation/sweat.

Thinking my next pair might be a stocking foot waist wader with wading boots, especially as that might be easier to walk in a rocky river.

looks like the Daiwa ones are no longer available ?

daiwa hybrid chest waders might be worth a look
