My New (used)Korum Neoterics.

Used them for the first time out on a small lake in Rickmansworth over the weekend. I picked 'em up on Ebay on the cheap, a good conditioned used pair for just under a ton. I've gotta say I'm well chuffed. Great rods for the money and very versatile too. After using Grey's prodigies for small lake carp/tench fishing the Korums feel much better. Casting acuracy that was ridiculous - I swear I could place the lead in a bucket at thirty yards! With the 2.2 tip on playing small double figure carp was a joy, much more so than with an over-gunned 2.75 carp rod. Obviously, there are better rods about for specialist one species angling but all in all I think they're a very versatile rod for Barbel, Carp and Tench. Well pleased.
