muckboots

I've never worn Muckboots, but I can highly recommend Le Chameau Vierzonord boots, they might seem expensive at over £150 each but they are very well made, you definitely get what you pay for.
The nature of my job means I spend several days each week traipsing around muddy farmland, I've had my current pair for nearly 8 years and they are still going strong despite of the abuse they get. They are warm as toast in winter, although a thicker pair of socks or a lining is handy in sub-zero conditions. They are also incredibly comfortable, I've regularly walked over 15 miles in a day in them with no complaints. The grip well in mud as well.

I recently tipped up at my parents house and found a pair at the back door. Unbeliveably my old man had bought a pair for walking around his garden, feeding his chickens and anything else my mum wants him to do, he says they're great and he's very happy with them. I've always gone down the skee-tex route myself.
