I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that the GTX’s built on the Chimera 1 and 2 blanks. Do you know if that’s the case a Richard?

I don’t know for sure but I think it's quite possibly is yes.
It’s certainly the same chequered carbon pattern as the chimera blanks and only available in 12feet like the chimera.
It’s a lovely rod whatever blank is used.
On small/medium rivers under normal heights it’s certainly the one I pick up every time. It’s a good fun rod too when loaded up with a darting fish every single inch of it bends over double.
