Hello there folks

I'm looking for a bit of info if you don't mind

I'm pencilled in for 8/9 days work down in winchester in a couple of weeks

What is there in the way of free or dayticket fishing down there

All info will be treated in confidence, feel free to pm me if you want?

Thanks in advance

Stuart

Free fishing is available on the Itchen, I think there's a stretch in Winchester, the the Rod Box in Kings Worthy may be able to help, but there's definitely free fishing next to the White Swan pub in Mansbridge. The free stretch runs from the bottom of the Lower Itchen fishery to Wood Mill. The stretch holds double-figure Barbel, good Roach, Chub, Pike, Salmon and Trout, Home Stores in Swaythling should have some up to date info, 023 8055 1974. They'll also be able to help with the lakes.

Hi Stuart
There is some free fishing at Amesbury on the Avon, good for grayling and Dace, also dayticket available at Salisbury either above Salisbury (SAC) or just below, the Britford stretch (LAA) only a 45 min drive tops.
