Mayenne River France - does it have barbel

I'll be fortuante enough to spend some time in France over the summer on the Mayenne and wondered if anyone could confirm whether it holds barbel. If flows into the lower Loire and there's some in there. Grateful if anyone has any specific knowledge.

According to Fdration de pche de la Mayenne it appears it does. Look under richesse piscicole.

Thanks Nigel, I'd found that site but missed that page. If anyone has actually caught one from the Mayenne that would be interesting - it looks barbelly
