Mass bankside tree removal by farmers?

I’m still reviewing options before deciding how to proceed. Firstly did he have a felling license and secondly, the fact that bats likely used the old crack willows as a roost, so there are implications under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981?

Also need to check if the work is E.A funded/directed, as lots of heavy plant machinery on site?

On our section of the Rother at Coultershaw we have an area of land that is used for cricket bat willows. They select trees to harvest, and when removed they replant with 10ft lengths of willow which are just slotted in to a preformed hole.
Also when I lived in Essex several lengths of the Suffolk Stour had cricket bats growing along the banks. It is the perfect environment, plenty of moisture, and little disturbance. They are just another crop.
