I know he has a mate that does the tips, but then I've seen them in his workshop at varying stages of completion...Still think it's a shame Mark won't do a custom on this... Yes, he can supply additional tips.Oh goodness. There, that's more polite than my usual ffs. My commiserations Tim. Are they not replaceable tips u can buy from MT as spares?
That really is sods law.Yes, he can supply additional tips.
I will re-jig mine (2” broken off the tip) and see what it is like before I get a replacement.
I don’t particularly like the orange tips either (too much orange) and ironically I broke the all black one !
Have a look at Graham's custom version at buzzard rods , he has made his to fit drennan quiver tips , some are supplied with the rod , but you can obviously purchase any to suit your requirements.Still think it's a shame Mark won't do a custom on this... I do recall Mark saying that with his carbon tips they act seemlessly with the whole tip section.... As in there isn't any flat spots in the quiver section. I wasn't entirely sure if he was saying there is with the use of Drennans or not?Have a look at Graham's custom version at buzzard rods , he has made his to fit drennan quiver tips , some are supplied with the rod , but you can obviously purchase any to suit your requirements.
MT built me a Torrix tip rod and said exactly the sameI do recall Mark saying that with his carbon tips they act seemlessly with the whole tip section.... As in there isn't any flat spots in the quiver section. I wasn't entirely sure if he was saying there is with the use of Drennans or not?
