Mainline for trotting

I use Edge Tackle 8lb which is 0.22mm for all my barbel trotting and fid it performs well. It is supple and fine diameter for the breaking strain. They recently had a buy 2 get 1 free offer (not sure if it is still on) so I stocked up with 3 x 300m spools. I will change the line 2 or three times over the season.
