Not my picture this is the lower tidel free stretch of river has ice forming this morning. These are the pegs for the silver fishing and the pike in winter. They get there very early for the log peg.

Yes this is looking up to church deeps. It is above the Shawes arms. The deeps start on the sand bank.. About 500 yards walk.. This were most of the you tube videos of the silver fishing are filmed.

Thought I recognised it, thanks mate. Not fished there for a good few years now and never did get around to a promised pike trip after I was tipped off about a 30 plus beauty some years ago. Tight lines.
