Loop Knots

Which do you folk think is the better knot. The figure eight loop knot or the double over hand loop knot. Or does any one know of a better knot for forming a loop in hook link.
 
Figure of Eight is excellent. I also use the Perfection Loop. Bit difficult to learn to tie, but, once done, the resulting loops can be tied tiny if desired.
 
That will explain why my double overhand loop knot which i used to use on my barbel hooklinks would sometimes fail near the knot. I think tying a figure of eight loop would be a better option for me, rather than what i currently do which is tye a swivel on the end of every link with a palomar knot. At least a packet of swivels will last longer this way, and it sounds like an equally reliable knot.
