Light quiver rod slim built?

I'm after an 10'6'' to 11' quiver rod, must be really light as I tend to hold my rods a lot.

Ideal for lines up to 4lb-6lb+ it's mostly for big chub rather than barbel, but they could come along?

I'm happy with a mass produced job.

I have a Free-Spirit small water 11' 1lb t/c but I find it still too heavy in the hand, even though it's a nice rod. I'll probably sell it as it was going to do the job above.

I use a Preston carbonactive 10' mini carp quiver takes lines from 3-8lb nice through action but enough backbone to tackle bigger fish after all they are designed for commercial carp feeder fishing. They make them in various lengths with quiver tips from 3/4-2oz & they are very well made.
I am very impressed with the rod & I cannot recommend them enough!

I can vouch for the preston rods I have an 11ft c-tec and an 11.6 method feeder.
The c-tec might be a bit light weight for chub and barbel but I am thinking of using the method feeder rod for the type of fishing you describe and I think It will spot on.
Obviously the other mini carp rods will be good just depends if 10 ft suits you they do quite a few different rods mines a 11.6 method mini plus.
 
Tfg River and Stream again hard to find.
 
I use the Drennan Puddle Chucker feeder rods, range from 10 to 12 foot and come in a sleeve with additional tips, can't fault them.

Just to add another vintage rod into the mix, .. the North Western Rodcraft 11 ft swim feeder is very slim and very light, and has always been a joy to use .
Not to be confused with the 'specimen ' .
If you spot one for sale I would certainly recommend it, very sensitive but with enough backbone lower down to cope with the odd lunk.

OOh they were very nice rods, remember Andy Harman and a few other 'Big hitters' swearing by them ! Nowadays, Tri-cast make some fantastic feeder/quiver rods, costly but very nice.
 
Andy hails from just round the corner from me, so the rod had a local appeal then!

What about a Drennan series 7 11' Avon duo? 1 1/4lb TC comes with 2 tops, an avon and a quiver which will take all of the Drennan range of push in tips....
I know its not in the same class as the old Super Specialist Duo, but its a nice useable rod with high quality fittings, for about £90

If thats the same as the old C series then i have one of those Mick, you can borrow it for a try out if you like, plenty enough grunt for any chub that swims !
