Large comfy chair

Any recommendations? Want a big comfy strong chair with plenty of feet adjustment for steep banks. Weight is not particularly important but a consideration.
Backs playing up a bit and I couldn't get comfy when I had a morning on a puddle yesterday.

I can vouch for the Nash Indulgence high back, Andrew. It's a very nice chair to sit on, too nice sometimes, as I've nodded off in it a few times. With it being that little bit higher, it helps to keep your head out of the wind. It's big though, I wouldn't want to carry it any distance, but I find it very comfortable.

Have a look on here.

They often have some good bargains. I got mine from here. I think I payed £85 + P&P.

If weight isn't an issue I'd go for a Korum duper deluxe accessory chair. I've not got the new version, but my older deluxe one is my first choice if I'm not carrying it too far. I don't think you'll find a better leg arrangement for steep/uneven banks,

Really impressed with my Solar South Westerly Pro Combi chair , packs flat not too heavy , good for river banks and lake swims and isn’t too pricey .

Are the legs ok on steep banks with them being straight?

I've got the Nash high back - don't find it that cumfy tbh. for ref I'm nigh on 6ft 4in and weigh too much.

Tracker have a few ones that look the part, but you probably need to visit one of those carp shows to test everything in one place.

You won’t get better than the solar sofa chair for comfort and build quality
Got to agree about this chair was looking my self a couple of months back plenty of recommendations for this chair and bit the bullet wow didn’t know what I was missing and on the plus side it is light as a bonus

Right I've nipped in wickersly angling today and had a good look at some chairs.
The trakker levelite looks and feels like you'd be pushed to get a season out of it but very light and had nice long leg adjustment but looked worse than flimsy.
The korum super deluxe looks decent but my god it weighs a tonne.
The nash indulgence recliner is decent but quite heavy and I'm not over sure on the build quality.
The solar sofa chair looked like the chair of my dreams, very well made, very comfy, really light but and it's quite a big but, there's only about 3 inch of adjustment on the front legs which is putting me off a bit. This is negated by the chair being in quite a reclined position when all the legs are fully in on a flat surface so if the bank was say 3inch out of level I don't think you'd need to higher the front legs at all to be comfy.

Anybody got experience of the solar chair on steepish banks?

Or anybody changed the front.legs on them, they're the spring loaded ones and don't come out.

I'm interested in the replies to this as I never thought about that and took delivery of one last week at a descent price and tbh in comfort it's a game changer

Neil,
Can you take a picture of the front legs with them fully extended. I modified my JRC easily with some aluminium tubing.

Let’s face it that Solar chair isn’t really designed for river banks , it’s a session chair designed to be used sat outside your bivvy on a long session .
The one I bought (above) does both and I’ve used it for both , it’s honestly one of the best items of tackle I’ve bought in the last few years .

Hardly any extention ..... I may have to choose my swims carefully 🙄
Thought that might be the case !
The front tubes of the chair are much longer than the legs. So provided the tube thickness was increased, you could make much longer legs and add the mud feet. Are the legs plain tubing or is there a groove or indent ?
If just plain tube the modification would be simple.

I looked at that many chair legs yesterday I can't remember if they where plain or not.😃
They are spring loaded though so don't pull out like the old ones did. I think you may have knock the release mechanism off to change the tube
