Aaw cummon Alex, you know that bit was a little tongue in cheek

To be really honest, I couldn't give a flying f*** what pole handle others use....I just get fed up with all the daft nonsense trotted out about them on these threads. So...the LA handle is strong enough to fight off angry bulls or fell small nuisance trees in your swim...well whoopie ruddy do, damned good news. For me, that still begs the question 'Will it land fish any better than many other poles weighing....and costing, far less?'....No? Then what is the point?
There are many anglers whose fishing is very roving orientated...they strip everything down to the bare minimum. One rod, one reel, sit on the mat, so no need for a chair. Pack of hooks and a tub of swan shot in one pocket, few odds and ends of bait in the other...and
absolutely no umbrella...NOTHING that isn't absolutely essential. Then spoil it all with a net pole you could string telephone wires on
And why? I don't know...and despite some obvious pointers, I don't even wish to hazard a guess

Of course some will own them because weight apart, they are a damned good pole which will last a lifetime...especially if you don't have far to walk ('cos then they may shorten that life span

) And again, some anglers own them because they are not knackered old farts like me

All in good fun Alex....as usual in such threads, there is barely a serious word in anything I say...keep on smiling chap
Cheers, Dave.
