Have any of you chaps tried these pellets, and do you rate them as a good barbel bait? Just looking for a good winter pellet/paste and may give these a try.

I tried these two seasons ago. Moulded round a method feeder with two 8mm pellets glued back to back on the hair. I don't know whether i was just in the right place or just lucky but I had twelve barbel off the lower Severn. Which I consider to be a red letter day.
I haven't reproduced these results since due to either being away or rivers being out of fettle.
Not a conclusive report but an input at least.
