Korum

Sometimes maligned, in the past by yours truly for one or two seemingly untested products. However i thought this really fantastic customer service was worth sharing on an open forum.

I have had the Mark 2 day shelter for a year now. Cracking product, but the stitching on the bag has torn down to half way and i managed to lose the peg bag in a gale.

After literally months of trying unsuccessfully to buy replacements from my tackle dealer, and getting fobbed, more in desperation than hope,i emailed Korum direct and explained my problem.

A couple of days later i received an email from someone from Korum saying he had spare bags he could send me for free. I received them today, a happy customer!

Yep they are outstanding, I bought a used Preston Sentient Feeder rod off ebay but it didn't have the original bag. I rang and explained asking if they were available and I received a replacement inner and outer bag next day free of charge.

Regards
Al

I was once called the Korum kid a few years ago, i really like the company and their items, especially the chair, ruckbag, barbel spoon and shelter etc

I have to agree that Korum provide excellent customer service. I have had two good experiences recently:

I lost one of the adjuster knobs from my accessory chair and emailed Korum asking where I could get replacement...the outcome was that they sent me a replacement free of charge.

I have had some problems recently with their large open ended feeders. The feeder bodies have seperated from the lead base whilst river fishing, I emailed Korum about this with a couple of photo's and they said it was a manufacturing fault and sent me some replacements again free of charge.

I have nothing but praise for their customer service levels

Agreed on the customer service. Broke a latex spoon net after 12 months battering on the screw fitting. I insisted on buying a spare part, they insisted on exchanging it for free. Took it into Lanes of Coventry on Saturday & picked up brand new net yesterday!

Most of my kit is Korum. The specialist rods are bang on, a little less "pokey" than the twin tip. I have a 2lb job that is bang on for lobbing feeders out, great playing action also. Big confidence in this kit.

UNLIKE the Fox 7000s, reel number three ready for the scrap heap, not under preasure, the anti reverse packed in, AGAIN. Back on shims, and Fox should be ashamed for letting these hit the market.

Korum, Drennen, Shimano, love em.

shame Maver arent so helpful!!
