Korum hooks to nylon issues.

I'm probably not the first to have issues with these, 12" of 6lb line to a size 12 hook, snapped 3 (yes 3) in succession with some trout that weren't especially massive (was after barbel/chub on the Irwell).
I initially though I may have clipped a sharp object on the first one, and perhaps the second, but a third snappage had me binning the rest.
I know the ethos is to tie your own, which I did after that, but surely they shouldn't be snapping so easily, and in roughly the same area of the line, about 10mm down from the loop.
My advice is to avoid at all costs.

I had a similar issue with some Drennan method feeder hooks to nylon. I bought them out of convenience but will be tying my own in the future.

Personally I avoid anything Korum .. I tie my own then I only have myself to blame .

The thing is, korum do a few decent items, but hooklengths, which I consider one of the most critical parts of tackle seem to be terrible.
Whilst I'm definitely going to tie all my own from now on, for folks who don't have the dexterity to tie their own, and rely on manufacturers getting components like this spot on, it's going to upset quite a few anglers unless korum sort it out.

Richard, I find the hook hole on these is far too small for line above 8lb.

I use their 10 to 12lb for tench worm kebab quickstop tench fishing without problem
Hi i find if you move the line holding the quickstop down with the tip of your thumb i can easily thread 10lb flourocarbon in a 8 10 or 12 size hook

The reason i use them is i make up lengths of 4ft line on rollerswhich dependant on what method ,feeder, bomb, method feeder i can adjust to on the bank
