Hi all first time posting on here, just wondering if any of you have the above chair, can't seem to find any info on the seat height, have the korum roving chair and is a bit low for my dodgy knees, does look higher on advertisement pics but no info on actual seat height range, any info would be greatly appreciated... 😁

Hi Andrew, welcome to BFW

I have merged all three threads that you posted on this subject, so all of the information is now in the one thread.

Hi, You only need to put the thread/question in one place
You’ve got 3 started, all the same question but in different topic headings.

welcome btw

Threads now merged :)

Thanks for the reply David, korum don't list the actual height of the seat height range (by extending the legs etc), other makes give such information on their websites and adverts, realise I can work it out from the overall height minus the height of the back of chair, just wanted to be sure before purchasing one, as shops local to me don't have them in stock or to view in store, and don't want to have to return it after buying online, through experience can be a lengthy process and can't be faffed with the stress that goes with it.. But thanks for the reply all the same.

Thanks Graham I've also been looking at the fox Duralite and does look better to be honest, just wish could go and see one in the flesh or get some advice without having to buy things blindly online, many thanks..

The fox duralite is only 33cm to 40cm which is pretty low and not much adjustment for sloping banks

The super lite chair is extremely low with only around 4” of adjustment on each leg. Don’t get me wrong at 2.3kg you pick it up and it’s shocking how light it is
They do a reclining version with long front legs, more padding etc. I’d imagine it’s still light but very lacking on the website as to how light or big it actually is.
@Richard Parsons has this chair. Maybe he would give you some real stats on its size and weight

Just a suggestion as was looking at a new chair a while ago. Was keen on the Korum but ended up with the Fox Duralite. Heavier OK at 3.2 kg but higher at with arms, the latter being a selling point for this old codger.

Hi Andrew,
I have just sold my korum aeronium because it was much to low and the shape of the tubing ment you could not easily increase its height. I have gone back to my JRC specialist x-lite. This I easily converted to give me more height adjustment. It is about 1kg heavier that the korum but much more comfortable.

JRC X-lite is generally well thought of. Light and with a decent range of adjustment. Lasts well too. Good sized mud feet.
Had mine about 5 yrs and I'd buy another tomorrow if necessary.

Andrew, you asked about height. The Korum is 14" floor to seat base with legs fully extended. My JRC was about 17" in standard form and is now up to 2 0" with the modifications.

See my thread, "chair modifications" , October 1. 2020
Thanks for the info Mike, looks a cracking chair with plenty of height, think it would be a good idea if the manufacturers could supply longer legs if needed, it's a minefield out there how many chairs there is, unfortunately like a lot of tackle at the moment it's in short or no supply, thanks again 👍👍
