In fairness, these shots of the captor with the fish in the water must be better for fish welfare, less risk of being dropped or kept of the water for too long.Get with it Mike, the baleful stare” shot is so yesterday!
Has it not been largely superseded now by its upgrade: the “needlessly donning Vass waders and immersing yourself in the water baleful stare” shot?

		 , TBH I like both but have found that you can get really strange expressions looking strait on to the camera ( as this example shows)  so I like to look down and admire a bit of luck
