Hi Mark,yes I was !! But this one isn't really the right one to use when ledgering as the ratchet is not that strong enough.
I now have the JW RIVER SPECIALIST which was designed for the job.
I also have another Bob James centre pin I am actually trying to sell both of them for a friend who can no longer go fishing.The one on classifieds at the moment is actually BRAND NEW And was only built ( hand built) in Febuary 2022 and cost £340 to buy from the shop at JW YOUNGS . It's a bargain for anyone who likes to use them for float fishing
