Jacket

Hello everyone, I have just ripped my realtree jacket[ it was the nylon shiny type material] it has split all down the seam, now i need a new jacket for the upcoming season, i dont want to be paying a fortune for one as i have just bought a new rod and accessories and i think the wife will be a bit upset at another £100 on tackle! Any recommendations? cheers:D:D

Hi Barry,if its realtree you want then the tfg ones are really good.Waterproof, breathable etc and very lightweight with enough material to double up as a good winter jacket paired with a fleece. The one i have is the old pattern but the new more High definition one is exactly the same.Should pay around 50-60 quid. Alternatively get a goretex army surplus one for about 20 quid.Or pop down to makro, costco, matalan etc and pay around 30 quid for a regatta jacket that comes with a fleece. And im not talking about the nasty bin liner ones neither, their good quality. Hope this helps

Bary,
Google army surplus clothing. A lot of those sites will have Gortex ¾ length camo jackets with attached hoods at £50 to £60 for brand new or £30 to £40 for second hand, and be amassed at what else is available. I have been using them for 12 years and never had a problem.

Dont waste your money on Realtree.
The fish know yer not a Real Tree, cos a real tree, dont leap around the bank,
clumping there feet, banging in banksticks,or hollering to thier mates :D:D:D

All the best H

Lol! you must have seen me fish! Ionly bought the realtree one because it was under £30 mon fleabay! Although i do sit as still as a tree most times due to the lack of fish causing me to move!
