Insurance

You can include it on your household contents policy as an add on for sporting equipment or as specified items. Just make sure that it covers you away from home (all risks) and that it includes storage in a shed/garage if needed. Also check the excess and item value limits. Had to make a couple of claims on my policy (John Lewis) following thefts from my secure garden shed and can't fault them on the service and speed of settlement.
