Injury - what do you make of this ?

definatly a blunt hippo tooth mark ! :D

heard the rivers down that way are infested with hippos. ;)
 
Think the ones i've seen, and the ones seen by Ade - 1m long and thicker than his wrist are Sea Lampreys. The ones i have seen have a mottled green/yellow colouration which fits the Sea Lamprey description. Brook Lampreys are too small to cause that size of wound. I would guestimate the biggest i've seen to be around the 4lb mark based on a similar length to weight ratio to an eel.
