Have just acquired this rod from a lovely chap in Cambridge - it’s a 11.3” century pulse TM barbel, and has removable end eye to fit tips.
It’s in lovely condition but some of the graphics have faded. I intend to use it for chubbing rather than for its intended quarry
Just wondering if anyone else has one or knows anything about it? I believe it was designed with the help of Tony miles but not sure of its TC, feels like it might be 1.25 - 1.5Ib region. The Quivertips don’t have a rating on them but guessing 1-2oz? Also feels like the tips should have another eye half way between the two it came with, they obviously never did have one but very acute bend in them without it?
Also, anyone know date of manufacture roughly?
Any info appreciated
Thanks
